The cache page for the Spring Event just got approved. Check it out here: Spring Event Cache
I hope to see a lot of cachers there. |

I walked into my office administrators office today, and noticed a letterhead from MNGCA on his desk. Tell the gang that if they are trying to get anything done with Gander, to contact me.
I asked my guy to fulfill your request, and you'll be getting something from my store. I hope it helps.
I rarely get to events any more. Kids, cabin, work. etc....... I hope I can attend one in the near future.
Now don't everyone line up for free stuff......... _________________ "You cannot reason a person out of a position they did not reason themselves into" |

Looks like we will have rain again for the MnGCA event ... come prepared for it. But then of course it would seem like a MnGCA event without rain (or snow) would it? Why break the pattern now???
Please, please, please consider placing a temp cache. These are always fun!
Also please consider bringing a door prize or two. They don't have to be big things or expensive things. (but then anyone who has been to a past event already knows that ) We like everything.
I am playing hooky from school and I'll be out wandering the trails today setting up the kid's caches... if anyone is out there, stop me and say hi. |

I will likely be there early wandering around setting up a temp cache or two. Anyone want to bring a laptop with EasyGPS so we can all just hook up and download all the temp cache waypoints without having to manually enter them all? _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

I'm hoping to set up "Rickrich's FTF Challenge Game". But who knows, I'm basically lazy. Ideas I have, execution is a whole 'nother story.
Kathleen will be donating a Three Rivers Parks annual pass as a door prize.

Do the temp caches have trade items? Or just log books. I think I want to hide a micro. But not sure on the rules for a temp. A little help. Thanks!

Whatever you want! To trade or not, that is the question!
Micros, multis. . .all up to you. |

Here's a group photo taken at this year's Spring Event at Minnehaha Park. That's a lot of geocachers!

Thanks for that RJ!
Any chance you could write up a quick event report article for the front page for those that did not attend? |

And don't forget WWPP and myself for a yellow jeep TBug since we missed the event (she tried setting up the Science Museum as an event but it didn't get approved, so would be nice to get a little something outta the deal).
Looking forward to the stories about the event. |

LOL LOL LOL Hmmmmm.... get a little something outta the deal?
Lets see..... they got free passes to the Museum for a future visit, free admission Saturday, free parking. Future free tickets to the omnitheater and a handwritten thank you card. They had lots of fun and also got possible permission to hide a permanent cache in the Science Museum.
BUT..... what he really, really wants is a Travel Bug.......(grin)
KC0GRN, I would like to invite you to join our TB 12-step program before this problem gets out of control for you. We meet every Thursday |
