Checking interest on a group effort for the cache below for this Friday night. This is for those that have seached in vain and only if there is LOTS of interest. (Don't clue in the CO as to our devious planning please!)
Usual WNC rules apply. If you make the find, keep looking around a bit and don't clue anyone in that you just found it. Use stealth. As time goes on, the only hint that should probably be relayed to the rest of the group is the general area to search. This shouldn't be a one finder gig. I think the CO would want us to respect the hide and the thrill of the hunt which is what caching is all about!
Evil's Twin Cousin Look! I did it! an ammo can! You can teach old dogs!
Treats at Dairy Queen for the victors afterwards. For those that would like something to coordinate with their tears...this months featured blizzard is pecan pie.

| that is cheating, doing it as a group. Takes the fun away from the find and the CO's efforts into making the cache. Think about it. |

Why? It appears that most that have found it have found as a group as well as groups that logged DNF's. |

| And....how would it be any different than any other weeknight caching event done as a group? |

Personally, I think "Dynamo Bevy Rover Yodels" sounds more fun, but that's just me . If there was one named "Sunny Day Lollypops", I think that would be fun too! This one just sounds EVIL _________________ Ahhhhhhhh, the power of cheese! |

| I really didn't want the CO to heckle us (hoping he's headed out of town) as we fail yet again. |

Some people play the game differently than others.
Personally I enjoy finding the more difficult caches in a group. While it makes finding the cache a little easier (although oddly enough I think most of my DNFs come from this type of situation), the camaraderie outweighs the negatives. In the end this is supposed to be fun! _________________ Hmm... |

I know! I went back (after I posted the FNC) to see how long it had been since I was there to look and couldn't find my dnf. |

He would never heckle anybody. He is such a sweet and wonderful guy. How I love that rat of mine. A pure gem, that's what he is. Heckle? Never, not my fuzzy little rat. He's nothing but helpful when you're looking for one of his caches. Always giving hints and such. Just a joy to have around as you search, that's what he is. |
