| The Garmin 60 CSX is on sale at both REI and Cabelas for 199.00. Cabelas also has the 60 CSX bundle with topo 2008 on sale for 219.00. |

| The 78 is a replacement for the 76 series aimed at mariners. Looks like a nice unit and it also floats. Looks like it would be a good all around unit to have. I’ve heard rumor of a new replacement for the 60 series. If the 60 series is being replaced I would think that we would see something from Garmin soon. |

The 78sc comes with charts for mariners, but the 78 and 78s don't. It looks like all 3 have the paperless geocaching on them. |

REI also has a bundle pack on the Dakota 20 for 299.99 and there is also a 50 dollare rebate to boot.

| Cabelas now has the 60csx (nonbundle) at 369.99 and the bundled unit at 219.99. REI still has it at 199.00. |

Can anyone with first hand experience comment on the Dakota screen? How does it compare to an Oregon 400? |

Went looking for this deal, and couldn't find it (probably expired if it existed). Can you provide a link? |

| Looks like REI no longer has it on sale, but Cabelas does. Go to www.cabelas.com and you can find it on sale for 299.00 and there is a 50.00 rebate on it which brings it to 249.00. The rebate ends June 20th. |
