| In the past couple of weeks the amount of posting on this board has risen sharply and I was wondering what has caused this spike. I really think that it's cool and want to learn how we can encourage continued growth. |

I think it is because the SMTP notifies have been enabled and people are now aware of when there is a reply to their post. No option for that one though.

No fair to only get one vote. I have 2 reasons.
1. Too cold to Cache hunt, must stay in touch.
2. Rick's cool new site toys. _________________ Save the earth.

I think it has a lot to do with the recent event at BWW and rickrich's new web tools.
It's cool actually being able to imagine a face with a name when reading someones post. Makes it a lot more personal in my opinion.
I voted for rickrichs new web tools. Way to go RR! |

i have noticed that there's no shortage of topics/posts lately. ironically i haven't posted much, if anything, in recent weeks, but i've kept up with the topics of discussion. i do have a question i've been meaning to post, but haven't gotten around to. i don't read the gc.com forums because there are too many topics & participants. sometimes i've thought this forum was a bit light, but not recently.
nice to see i'm not the only one capable of writing a poll. |

did corky write a poll? i know jay leno did, but i don't recall whether or not sam did. i also see, upon further review, that team hooligan wrote one regarding garage logic, and proved that many of us didn't know what GL stands for. not that we should know that any more than we'd know what IITYWTM, YHTBEAD stands for. |

Not to go OT, but, I know what Gl is, and I have a cylinder index. It's 5 for the motor bikes (I have 2) 6 for the jeep and that's before we start on husband's stuff. _________________ Save the earth.

After the Get Sauced event I've been motivated to cache more. A LOT more. Got 15 today before 1pm, for instance.
There should have been an option:
* Trying to learn where the Ponies are that the Wandering Wickets are Patrolling.
I'd vote that.

You're a stud! I just was out in the -2° weather doing Kitch's new multi! 5 stages of heck in the -30° windchill.
I will be caching w/s4xton, trypnotic, and Arcticabn on Sunday... I will be caching with Kitch on Friday night and myself on Saturday (unless someone is interested).

Just placed one in St. Paul at 6:30 AM this morning. -9° with a -32° windchill!! The wind was almost dangerous when I had to walk directly into in on the way back to the car. |
