|
|
My wife is visiting Duluth on business for two days in the middle of an intense snow event. What centrally-located caches can be found in the snow? We're looking for caches that are above ground level (perhaps lamp post caches?) or indoors -- a "log book in a library" cache would be ideal.
Also, she'd like to cross the state line and find a cache in Wisconsin, so recommendations for anything just over the line and out of the snow would be welcome.
Thanks!

Here are a few easy to get to/winter friendly caches that I know of...
Duluth/Proctor:
GC1DJFG
GC1XTCF
GC1A15C
GC1AY1K
GCWZ9M
GC17F0N
GC21V7W
GC1P1M5
GC1NC5Y
GC1HWYG
GC1G5ZR
GC1RFVC
GC1QY12
GC1CXPH
Superior:
GC1XN80
GC1E7D8
GC15DVK
Most of these are near a road, sidewalk or path. |

We do have four lamppost caches (although I've heard rumors that they may get archived, but that's a whole different story). I can't immediately recall any indoor caches.
When is she coming? Currently we don't have enough snow on the ground to be of concern for caching, with nothing significant forecasted. _________________ Hmm... |

Neat that you point that out. I was thinking of physical caches, not the webcam cache.
I'm waiting though to see who points out the obvious here. _________________ Hmm... |
