| Plat maps, even online ones are not always accurate. My plat shows an alley going through the middle of my lot. Rest assured, my deed says I own it. Just saying, be careful. Obey any fences and "Private" property signs for sure. |
Does that mean I have to avoid the alley to find that challenge final hidden next to your front stoop? |

It means that the cache is on my property (my new house, I moved last summer) and not on public land. Good thing I gave myself permission! |

Just a note that I've been adding and modifying the original list on page 1 as I discover changes (I added Cook County today). If you're aware of a link that doesn't work, or a county that shows their property information online, then I'd encourage you to post a reply here and I will try to keep the list up to date. _________________ Hmm... |

I think this is Crow Wing's online plat maps.
http://gis.co.crow-wing.mn.us/link/jsfe/index.aspx
Why doesn't St. Louis Co. have one so nice as this? Oh wait, they don't have one at all. I probably shouldn't go there.
MNFruitcake may need this in the future I 'll need input. He has been forwarned. _________________ Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-

They used to have a couple of different things over the years that would show you tax forfeit and DNR lands (and give you coords in UTM), but even that's gone now. The last time I asked the land department about a replacement my email went unanswered. Perhaps you should try? _________________ Hmm... |

Edited the list on pg 1
http://mngca.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=65529#65529
to add/remove a couple of different counties. Again, if you know of ones that aren't on the list, please share them here and I'll update the list.
I think the best one so far now is the St. Louis County maps, based solely on the user interface (Google Earth), not just because I live in the county. _________________ Hmm... |

I clicked on a bunch of those links at. http://www.gispilot.com/States/Minnesota.html
Most are dead or don't get you to where you need to go.
Your best bet is to go to the county website and see if they have gis or property maps. Over the past 5 years I have found that the counties that have GIS have changed their software and the links. |

I'd encourage you to look at the list near the top of page 1 in this thread:
http://mngca.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=65529#65529
and let me know by a post here if something is out of date or you find a new link.
I use these links on a pretty regular basis and encourage others to do so as well. _________________ Hmm... |
