Quite the production....I think they should show that in schools. They do the drunk driving simulations, or they did when I was in school, this is about as graphic as that was. _________________ Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. |

Driving school in the UK and in Europe is not like it is here in the US. They don't get it in High School. Driving school is done by private certified companies and you have to pay to go to the school. One of the reasons that they have less 16 or 17 year old kids driving on the highway. For instance in Germany in the early 90's it cost about $1500 to attend driving school.
As I recall, even back then they showed various films similar to this one. It may have been a PSA but again television over there is different. They don't have commercials every 8 or so minutes (or even less sometimes). A 40 minute show will be broken into two piece with about a 5 or 6 minute intermission/commercial break. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

I'm going to show it to my 16 and 14 year old sons. I hope it scares them the way it scared me. _________________ Sig line? I don't need no stinking sig line! |

I have to admit that I was thinking that exact thing... I just did not want to say it since I am guilty of the GPS use at times. _________________ ~~ I was told all I needed was a GPS. I wanted everything else. ~~ |

My 15-year old step daughter just got her permit; I will definitely show this one to her! _________________ "We never seek things for themselves-what we seek is the very seeking of things"-Pascal |

Show me an FTF Hound that isn't looking at the "new notification" on the phone and typing those coords into the GPSr while he/she drives down the road. Now there is a scary combo.... |

Thats why I don't have texting on my phone so I would not be tempted to become a FTF hound. _________________ Remember One does not need the MNGCA to geocache, but the MNGCA does need members to survive. |

Thanks for the heads up on this one. I just had my son the Texting king watch it. I think ( or I hope ) it opened his eyes to the danger.
Thanks again for the heads up.

Got a friend that is so afraid of getting into the habit of texting while driving or talking on the phone while driving that the first things she does is lock her phone into the glove box...not much chance of using the phone with it locked...and the key needed to get it out is in the ignition... _________________ You may only be young once...but I will be immature forever!!! |
