Anyone up for some group caching in the Hastings area tomorrow? I am really dying to do CAG's Hanging by a Thread but my Usual Suspects are out of town or busy making up for WCM hunting all week

I'd love to BUT, just got back into town and I think I should spend the day with the kids.
Still looking forward to a monster weekend at the end of the month. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

Have a home show that I have to attend. Otherwise you are getting closer to my area and would be easy to meet up with you all. Maybe someday I will be able to meet you all.

Did you know the next breakfast is in Coon Rapids?? You ought to leave a few to find then, eh? |

Perhaps you should get to work and hide some more?
I think we are heading up to St. Cloud after the breakfast if my memory serves me correctly. Ask Arcticabn, he's in charge of planning that outing.

Well be sure to get the caches in Elk River area along the way... lots of nice scenic caches between here and St Cloud. (assuming you are taking 10 north) |

I spent a couple of weekends hitting caches between Elk River and Clearwater last spring, and I agree, there are some great caches up there. After the breakfast, I'll probably stay in the Coon Rapids area, though--kind of an area I haven't really concentrated on as far as cache hunting--I've gotten east, south, and west of it, though. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

Now it's my turn to do this one. I'll be heading out Friday, Sunday or Monday to do this one and would like some help. Warning - the camcorder will be rolling. Respond here or PM me if interested. |

So far Arcticabn, s4xton, and I are planning to do some caching after the Coon Rapids breakfast. Nothing is set in stone yet but we are working to determine the where/when/how's of the adventure. Anyone and everyone is welcome to tag along for as many as they like.
More details on this as they come up.
For those of you interested in doing Hanging by a Thread make sure you bring good shoes, pants that hold up in the snow, a camera, and a cell phone.

Yes......... What is the top prize on Funniest Home Videos??
It's a new fund raiser for the MnGCA - we could host a catered event with the proceeds.
Or is it a new version of reality show...... Extreme geocaching on a rope, over a cliff, in the snow and wind at sub zero temperatures.
We might congregate an entire film crew there to capture the "moment" |

As long as it isn't the real media. I am not sure that the County Parks System would approve of us storing and using a home-made rope ladder and knotted rope for descending a rock face to the shores of the Mississippi River
