This is a volunteer opportunity to write up a description of our Week Night Caching events. This can then be posted as a sticky on the Events forum.

The intended audience would be new members or members who never participated in a week night event prior.

OK, I'll bite:

Week Night Caching (WNC) is a gathering of geocachers for the purpose of caching, socializing, sharing knowledge and helping others to enjoy the sport of geocaching. Those young and old interested in learning about geocaching as well as the seasoned veterans are welcome to attend.

WNC typically begins at 7:30pm on Wednesday at a predetermined location which has been posted on the forums events page by the “host”. The host changes from week to week, and is responsible for choosing, and posting on the forum, the target caches for the evening, as well as the food and refreshment stop afterwards. Anywhere in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area is fair game for WNC. The only WNC rule is "No Blurting". Once you locate the cache, quietly step away and let others enjoy the find. The last person to find the cache will sign the log for the group.

Punch in the coordinates and get ready for fun when you reach Ground Zero (GZ). See you there!

The only thing I suggest, is changing it to "...anywhere in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area..."

Additionally, maybe some words about the format and the rules? I was kinda bewildered the first time I went.
Something like
When hunting, everyone in the group locates the cache on their own and doesn't say anything until the last person has found it. That person signs the log "WNC" for everyone and the group moves to the next cache. This way everyone gets to enjoy each cache as well as the comraderie.
