|
|
As many have heard, we will be having an event celebrating KB's 2000th hide on April 25, 2009.
The Crowning of King Boreas (aka KB's 2000th Hide)
We also have had a trackable coin minted for the occasion. They are $11 each. The coin is Gold in color and measures 2" in diameter and is 4mm thick. There is a special GC.com icon for the coin. Quantities are very limited (about 100 left) and we will not be placing any re-orders once these are sold out.
They can be picked up at most St. Paul area events or shipped with a small additional charge based on the quantity you order. Coin orders can be placed directly with mucuck via an email to mucluck@gmail.com . No PMs, please.
Here is what the coin looks like. All black areas are gold in color.

| I have purchased the coin and will say it is a very nice looking coin and it is well made, nice diameter and weight to it. Great job on the design! |

Note to others...if you ask Topgear to buy coins for you, you will find a note on your front door with coordinates to the coins somewhere in the 1.2 acres of wetland you call your backyard. I think Bill's always wanted to hide a cache in our backyard and so he saw his opportunity and took it. Call this one Topgear's Evil Hide III.
We did not go find it. It was a blizzard, for gosh sakes. So we plugged the coordinates into the GPS, put the headlights on the grandkids, and sent them, our daughter, the dog, and our nephew out to make the find in the snowstorm. |

| Just to let everyone know that I found out this evening that there are currently only 60 of these coins available. This is a coin that is limited to the amount minted. It will not be re-minted. |
