|
| So this is just funny... we sent in our 60 Cx to Garmin for repairs, they send us a refurbed unit, but that unit had something wrong with the seal between the two halves, so Garmin says send it back we'll replace it, which they do, their usual stellar customer service I might add. So I get the new unit, and the only thing they didn't reset was the splash screen where you can put a custom message on boot up. It was someone's name, and a phone number from here in the Cities (a 612 number) Wonder what the odds are of a GPS being sent in from here, refurbed, and then ending up coming right back to MN! I will say seeing the phone number did give me the idea to add that in case it goes missing. |

| That's interesting... I just throw the # in the google search box, and it usually does a pretty good job of getting me the info I need. |

| I haven't had a chance to call him yet, been swamped with work and weekend "chores" but might try to give him a buzz over the weekend. |
