A quick check of stats for Centris shows she has hit 1000 finds between bugs and coins. According to JeeperDad of Utah who keeps track of such things, Centris is the number one bug finder in all of geocaching. She set out to get to this goal and made it. Congrats to her. |

| Sometime in March Centris. There are more details on the other thread in the General section under "Do we need a new game in town". I think you'll like it. I hope everyone does! |

congrats....
thank-god for the new game by RJ its going to give centris something else to do (while the rest of us...sneak up behind her on bug totals)......
but I'm sure she will blow us out of the h2o on the new game....unless there's some "team" action.......
1k bugs...wow....think about all those miles traveled, gas, AA's, baggies, photos, bears, trinkets, and my favorite.....Centris spends five minutes just scrolling down her list on her "my cache page".
AGAIN NICE JOB centris....now go find that "winter carnival trinket" |

If you don't want the money, and you don't tell anyone you found it. I know two people who would do that. _________________ Joined: 16 Dec 2002

After my business went belly up and I vacationed around the house for an entire year.... using up my savings while grabbing Tbugs .... Now I have decided it is time to do something different.
Lots of folks will pass me by in the next few months.... get going!!!
I'll still be out and about geocaching and probably grabbing one or two once in awhile.... probably skunk some of you just for fun every so often
I went back to college again 2 weeks ago and I am keeping real busy right now with that. It is HARD to do when you are an old lady like me . My brain was in cold storage for too long...... If you see somebody walking through the woods muttering Spanish verbs to herself... that's just me studying.
My original education was in Criminal Justice and now I am pursuing a Bachelors in Nursing.... I plan to combine the two and become a forensic nurse (yes, it is a *real* job)...... should take about 2-3 years. |

I sent my mom off to college a while back and now she is ABD - all but dissertation on her phd from Washington U. in St. Louis in Art History. I'm very proud of her. She too has mentioned how it is harder for her to learn at the pace she remembers from her first college experience (as a "traditional" student). |
