My nickname comes from the name a really cute guy gave me about 18 years ago. The full name is Red Devil from heck , because he said we worked in heck, and my age when I started Geocaching. |

Dornole is my husband's old D & D character from our high school days. OLD SCHOOL -- pencils, graph paper and dice!
I used his character instead of mine because "Gorlip the Mediocre" is too long.
Dornole is a variant of some Elvish word from Tolkien (Noldor). It's pronounced "Dor-NO-lay."
I'm guessing there are a few former D & Ders in the geoworld -- seems to be the right demographic. I recognize "my people" when I see them. |

Gorlip seems like a good name though... _________________ Hmm... |

For Christmas many years ago, we received personalized floor mats for our F150 truck.
One read Bob&Patty. The other read Bus&Betty. |

| Our name is supposed to be kind of a play on words of sorts. When I created the account way back when I owned a Jeep. So it is supposed to be pronounced the same as GPSr. That being said most people end up pronoucing it more like "jeep-sir". |

Shucks we did not even think of using a nickname, we just plain old used our last name which isn't anything special just derived from England.....London I think _________________ We are just in it for the FUN! |

I chose my name "zuma!" at random, only because that was the record (by Neil Young) that was playing at the time I was signed on to GC.com for the first time, and forced to think of a name quick. I figured I would change it later, but never did.
There was already a zuma listed, so I had to add the exclamation point to make it go thru.
My girlfriend picked up a rock at Zuma Beach in California when she was out there last year, which is kind of cool.

| Is that the one with "Cortez"? I remember those tracks from my college days, or whatever I remember of my college days. |

Yeah, Cortez the Killer is on Zuma. When I first started cachin, the early caches that I placed all were named after Neil Young songs, and occasionally, I still do that. Interestingly, I have never placed a Cortez the Killer cache, but, now I think I should. Given the lyrics about dancing on the water, I am thinking of a water cache for that song.

I'd love a water cache but I don't really care for Neil Young. He kind of has that same simpering tone as Bob Dillon. I would go after any cache regardless of name though. |
