TJ and I were on our way from Rogers to Coon Rapids via Dayton and 169. As we pulled up to the light at Dayton River Rd. and 169, I noticed a silver Taurus in the next lane with several geocaching stickers in its back window. I had TJ look for trackable numbers while I tried to tailgate-without-being-a-jerk, but we saw none. I didn't have a GPS or any other evidence of our obsession in the car, so I didn't disturb whoever-it-was as they turned left from 169 onto Main in Anoka.

We never see other cachers unless we're on FTF runs. Smile

Ran into matstaub a couple of days ago in Boulder, CO. He is a cacher from Germany here on holiday (vacation LOL) and this cache was to be his very first find in the United States. I regret to say that I found the cache before he did Laughing

I met lkvlemnguy on 8/18/11 after we had both found Fifth Leg (GC32FWX).

I met spstanley, MsSunshine, proutkat and Sharknose Bunnies on 9/22/11 at Sweet Little Tweet (GC33EQZ).

I ran into seeingitdifferent at the Plymouth library on 9/22/11 when he was searching for the puzzle cache enigma di biblioteca (GC2503J). Congrats on your 500th puzzle, SID!

I bumped into Commander & Chief at my cache Twist Don't Pull During the FTF race and have done a few with Seeker of the Lost.

I don't know if this counts but during an event I ran into doublemoose at a cache in the same park the CITO was in.

In my 2.5 years of caching and 2,400 finds, I have run into well over 80 cachers out on the trail. I don't mean people I met at events, or people I am caching with, but other cachers that I have run into while out on the trail. I have every single encounter listed in my GC profile.

I met The GeoStealth Alliance and also crissycrash at Island Oasis (GC172AV) in Vancouver in August.

The other day my wife and I were searching for Mallet #225 (GCR149) when Alevin came around the corner asking if we were having any luck. He checked a spot or two, but he was there for a cornerstone laying, not geocaching.

We met Angel In Out Field on a FTF of his cache Plymouth Lights (GC36RDA).

I met cejs, proutkat, Aquabug and Sharknose Bunnies when we all found three new caches in Plymouth. They were stop ahead!!!!! (GC375RZ), Water may be here (GC375TB) and mystry? where is she (GC375T8).

I ran into mnfishnutz and Troutonthebrain when we had a FTF of Seaborgium (GC38JRA). I was in my car logging the find when PackADad arrived.

I met mikedeotis at Shenandoah Park (GC39TK0).
