I have a (relatively old) backup of all the caches I ever found, with all logs as of the date of the backup. So I just now went thru them looking for the words "Met " and " met " and I added the entries I found.
Hey, its darn near -10 and not even nonlinear-kelsey wants to go caching today.

Hey rickrich! I hate being left out of the loop. I noticed that Centris has cached with pogopod and C.A.G. This would get me right into the middle of things!
Can't you make the bubbles colored or something? No really, I expected much more of you. |

So you want to count group expeditions as contacts? I can do that.
Yes, I can control all kinds of eye candy. I figured I'd muck around with that once the information content solidifies.
But here is an opportunity to use eye-candy to carry some information. I can color the edges to indicate whether the meetiing was by chance or by arrangement.

Oh I like this kind of fun. Would it be easier, less room as this thing grows, to my bunch as WWPP, or wicketsWPP, or something. If you play with lines being different colors for arranged or accidental meetings, spotings, maybe there should be a color for "I think" I saw or was spoted by...

Back on topic--Perrine and I met Wir Atomkinder at Roseville Centrl Park Nature Center on 5/18/02--he'd just beaten us to be FTF, then the same day, we met the gsharrow party at Keller Regional Park. On 7/6/02, I just beat the gsharrow party to be FTF of Forgotten Field edge, and teamudak came up as we were all gathered at the cache. That cache was memerable in that I took a shortcut across a small creek where I had almost lost a Teva, and I had mud up to my knees when I met the other cachers. Ah, to be caching in shorts and Tevas again!!! Looking through my old logs looking for who I've met on the trail, I'm kind of getting nostalgic for summertime cache hunting, but the logs that mention the mosquitoes keep me from getting too nostagic. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

And how dare I forget to mention I ran into KB when I went to his "it's just a game, folks" cache around Holloween last fall. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

| The only person I have run into was pogman at the west metro tb inn. I have seen quite a few people in parking areas, but after I scared the daylights out of one lady, I quit walking up to people. If you see a big gray haired, bearded old hippie looking person, it's probably me. |

I too have seen others in parking lots that could have been cachers--I have gotten to caches within 5-10 minutes of the previous finders, so I know we must have passed in the woods on different trails. About 2 years ago on the gc.com forum I mentioned we should have a small GC flag to hang on our car arials, kind of like the diver down flags that divers use on their boats. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

Here's some things I really need:
- A chance encounter or a group expedition that connects the 15Tango (includes KB) with the main graph.
- Any chance encounters that remove red links (group expeditions) from the graph. I think its cooler to have people connected by chance rather than by arrangement, even if it means more degrees of separation.
- Any naked geocacher sightings. I've seen naked people while caching but, judging by their attributes, they were not cachers.
I wrapped a tiny bit of HTML (less is more) around the whole thng:

In addition to the encounters Rick already shows on his graph, I have met Wayfarin' Stranger, John C., Towlebooth, Jillibean, and Whatsagps in the field. Candy Apple Green says he spotted me leaving "Pet Sematary" and Rouster saw my car parked at "Oh, the Distance Between Us".
I keep hoping to run into King Boreas. It seems I showed up at the Get Sauced Event just after I left. _________________ "Hi, I'm Moe, or as the women know me - Hey! You in the bushes."
