better than the typical rusted cookie tin wrapped in a plastic garbage bag hidden in a geo-beacon.
Full scale archiving will begin at the end of the month. _________________ Joined: 16 Dec 2002

We were unable to reserve the pavilion. We will be using the electricity at the amphitheater, and the shelter and fire ring on the island. Ample parking will be available near these areas.
The Buddy Cache will be replaced. I have placed 7 caches around Phalen. Some will be permanent; some will be temporary for the event.
Details will be on the event site as soon as I can do it. _________________ Joined: 16 Dec 2002

| #'s 2 and 3 are true in our state as well - especially if you head out of the metro. With all the public land up North that aren't state parks I would say that #1 is fullfilled up there too. |
Very true but I didn't have to drive 3+ hours out into the middle of no-where to find the beautiful parks... They don't typically have what we would consider metro-parks in Northeast PA, they just have tons and tons of State Parks and State Game Lands.
It was just very nice to be able to go to a State Park and actually talk to a Ranger that was pro-caching.
Maybe that's why I came back here so satisfied with the caches there?

Thanks for the event KB! It was nice to see a few friendly faces that I recognized. It was cold but not too cold. |

Sorry, I was busy digging for non-winter friendly caches in two feet of snow while Aaron stood around because he kept conveiniently forgetting his gloves in the car
