Mrs. Mizzou is an attorney if KB needs to alter his will at all to give a directive on what happens to 2,000 rusty cookie tins. I bet that would be a first at a will reading... "And for those who knew him as King Boreas, he bequeaths rusty cookie tins also known as caches to the following people..." |

Hello everyone, sorry for the delay but I don't frequent these forums so it wasn't until today that I heard about Dick K.'s passing. SJ and pfalstad were kind enough to point me at this thread after I asked about picking up his caches.
Several of his caches are close to my house, and ALL of his active caches are on my route home...I'd be happy to pick up any caches that are left. These are the three that really close to me, I'll start with these next week:
GCVJDT - Multicache - Sarah Undertow Redux - Not chosen
GC1C89H - Traditional Cache - Sarah Backwater - Regular
GCTVDA - Traditional Cache - Crow Dog - Micro
I remember that first one well, back then it was 3 days before I got the FTF, then 5 more before the next visitor found it...quite a few more cachers out there now!
Dick K. provided me many hours of entertainment, breaking up my long drive home - I'm going to miss his caches! I can't promise any miracles on timing, but I'll do what I can to get them picked up as quickly as I can. LMK if you prefer that any progress be reported here or not, and if you need to reach me quickly, please e-mail me via gc.com as I might not see the reply in this forum - thanks,
-Ken |

This has been partially retrieved. Seems it's frozen in. If anyone has some tools and can retrieve the rest of it that would be great. _________________ Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. |

I grabbed one on my way home tonight, last week's plan fell by the wayside when I got sick. I'll hopefully make some good progress over the next couple of weeks, for now you can take this one off the list:
GC1C89H - Traditional Cache - Sarah Backwater - Regular
The cache was empty except for a Tesser sig item and two pencils, I'll recycle what I can into another cache. Thanks!

Now that the weather's warming up and folks are getting out caching more, just wondering if anyone's picked up a few more of Dick's old caches? _________________ Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. |
