I have tried loading pictures to bug pages but the file size is too big. Even
with close cropping the smallest I have gotten a file is 176k. I'm only using a two megapixil camera. Any suggestions or help? Silent Bob sent me a link, but that one didn't help eithor. I'm sure I am doing something wrong.

Try taking the photo quality down a notch or two -- instead of best or excellent, choose good.
Which photo editing software do you use? Does it give you a choice of sizes or just crop options? Choose 600 pixels (or less) wide for any photo you want to upload to gc.com and it should be OK.

If you have something that needs to be run through photoshop ASAP send it and I'll put it through for you and email it back.
Is it baby pictures?? (Congratulations by the way!)

I am running a pc -sony vaio running windows xp. MSN is my server, and
I have had trouble the last couple days delivering mail, so it maybe only downloaded partof the program.

Whatever image viewing/editing software you use, you want to *scale* (not crop) the image dimensions down in size, saving the image as a JPEG (.jpg) with a quality factor of around 70. You can crop the image first to remove uninteresting features. But after that you should scale it until the desired *file size* is reached.

I generally scale the image dimensions down in 10% increments until the*file size* is less than 100 KB. Depending on what is in the image, the final image dimensions will vary. Images with a lot of detail in them (such as a picture of a field of grass) will need to be scaled down farther than pictures without a lot of detail (such as a picture of the sky).

As long as we're on the subject ...

I use a Sony Cyber-shot 2.0 and it's set at 640x480

Most of my photos are +/- 150 kb

Using irfanview and resizing at 99% most photos drop to 30-60 kb

Is there anything I can do to/with the camera that will eliminate all the resizing?

The first time I downloaded, I didn't get the whole thing. If I try again, is there a tutorial that comess with? It seems to be a popular program so it should work for me. I'm shooting a fujifilm finepix that is only 2.0 mp.

On the geocaching site it says they resize it. I tried, I uploaded a 700k 3 megapixel pic. Yep, it resized it.
