Does anyone know of any caches that are holiday themed? I thought about placing one but just didn't get any time this year. Maybe have to try next year. Don't have many cachers that go out around here this time of year I might go out on Saturday and do some caching, so if any one knows of any please let me know. Thanks |

Christmas (these are name only, not really themed):
St. Nick's in Albert Lea has a holiday name and is a nice one.
Christmas Lake Rest Stop
(There are two I know about in WI as well)
Valentine's Day (not too early to start planning):
Have a Heart
I've seen a lot more Halloween themed caches than Christmas. Time of year maybe or a fun holiday vs a family-oriented one?? |

my halloween cache was temporary; i placed a few halloween-related items in an existing cache and temporarily renamed it. i haven't decided if i'll do that next year, or create a new cache prior to halloween. i already have the halloween items for it, so here's hoping i get an earlier jump on it next fall. by the time i stocked my "blair witch cache" this year there was less than 2 weeks until halloween.
as for halloween caches, there's also 'jumping "jack" flash' in edina. if only i knew how to make those fancy links for cache pages. |

Thanks for the plug for Have a Heart, TowleBooth! I'll try to spruce it up with some new goodies before Valentine's Day.
I had a Halloween cache all ready to go in October, but couldn't find a likely spot to stash it! Isn't that awful? I did have one spot picked out but the parking lot was always full of people, so I never got to place it - maybe next year! |

Red Jacket Romp south of Mankato is also a Santa-themed tin.
