I have been asked to develop and run a 1.5 hour class on geocaching for the Ramsey County Library where I work. Is anyone interested in helping me teach it, and perhaps have extra GPSrs to show off? Has anyone already developed a powerpoint or script to use for a class? We teach basic computer classes here for up to a dozen people at a time with a laptop lab, and we are expanding to specific computer uses - like Genealogy, Facebook, etc - and this would be our first GPS-related class. The class would take place in the Spring of 2009. Please contact me with any advice or help you're willing to offer!

I have a couple of different presentations.

One, Garmin 101, is listed on Google Docs as mine although I don't think I'm the original creator of it (it probably belongs to either Merkman or Grey Wolf), but either way, since I'm listed as the owner, I'll be able to share it with you.

The other, Geocaching 101, is one that I used in 2003 (or 2004?) at the Hartley Nature Center. It's probably way more than one would need, but could be trimmed down if you want. I'm in the process of putting it on Google Docs at this moment.
