If it's a nationally registered marker, you can report it to the NGS here (and learn more about any registered marker):

There's not a way to recover marks online. OTOH, sending photos is not a two-step process.
Ideally, you would make a printout of the datasheet for the mark, write your corrections or observations on it, and send with digital photos. For larger counties with multiple sheets, there is a map of the sheet numbering system (PDF). |
