I added an extra fun element this year. Be sure to watch the pictures flow in for Halloween 2008: Who Is That Masked Cacher?

So how do you manipulate a reporter. You focus him on a series of caches that makes him publish his article in a timely manner.

Hit 5 of the Halloween series today with him. Said that the video article would be out before the end of the month.

I'll try and let everyone know when it is out.

Thanks for the fun Bart.

My pleasure. I hope you enjoyed them. I should have given you the coords for the bonus. That would have made for a good conclusion to the Halloween 2008 story.

A random pick.. Who is that masked cacher? Taking guesses. You can't guess yourself. Once the mask cacher is revealed, a new one will be put up.

Halloween 2008 will be wrapping up sooner than later. Apparently some kids stumbled upon a large Halloween cache container in Lebanon Hills today and called the county authorities.

Which one did they find?

Some kids found a toe-pincher coffin and thought it was real. I don't know if the Sherriff was B.S.ing or not, but allegedly there was a crime scene for a very short time until they opened it only to find some Halloween dummy holding an ammocan.

My wife thinks it's funny. I am not sure how to react.. I mean it is but it isn't at the same time. But really, how real life is it to find a box built out of fence pickets containing a real body??

I suspect three things will come out of this:
- There's a group of 15 year old kids that will be caching by the end of next week.
- The county parks will have a sense of humor and think of how many visitors to the park the 52 known caches bring in.
or,
- Dakota county will rereview their geocaching policy (or lack of one) and put something into place.

I know SB worked with the county a couple of years back and at the time the county deemed geocaching harmless and opted for no policy.

If this turns out negative for me, you can probably count on no Halloween 2009.
