Oh I agree, it could just be a mistake. I was just pointing it out since I have seen a couple like that. I am hoping for a day like that at some point. But then I also agree with SJ and timewellspent because I read the logs to determine if I should attempt a cache or not and what I will come up against when I go out there.

I spoke with him last night as he was driving north from spending yesteday in Witchta. He was planning on stopping for the night at a rest area. That's not what I call sleep, so maybe you really do have it figured out!

Congrats Bobcam!!! You're incredible! Not only have you found a record amount of caches, you have done a great job at hiding caches too!

He's at 9710. One year to find the first 5000 and since then 4710 in only 8 months. I noticed this because we found some of the same caches this weekend in Ames, IA, although we did not cross paths. Would our resident statistician, pfalstad, care to extrapolate the data and make a projection for the date of #10000?

I know that Bob's personal goal is 14000 by the end of his 2nd year. I was there when he told that to Zuma! and Team Honeybunnies (#2 & #3 Cheeseheads), so he's pretty well committed to it. He's #62 in the worldwide rankings as of this morning.

Well he found 300 in the last 9 days, so I guess another 9 days, or June 4. he should find 14000 by October.

Sept 26 is his anniversary date, but I'm sure he'll make, and probably exceed that.

Well, heck, I'm almost that fast. It only took me 337 days to get my last 300.

I am thinking that is a bit on the conservative side...

Well I dunno.. 300 in 9 days is 33.3 a day, and he's got 123 days till September 26. 123 days * 33.3 a day = 4095, so he'll only have 9710+4095 = 13805 caches by his anniversary unless he gets a move on! Wink
