Maplewood Parks are doing a major buckthorn removal at Vista Hills park in southern Maplewood on October 11th. I am planning to help. If any east metro cachers are interested in volunteering, it would be great for the parks to hear we are willing to help (despite the fact that the cache there will need to be moved, and the cover will be mostly gone.) Any time we volunteer to work for parks, we build more goodwill towards geocaching. Please email me if you would like to help out.
I think we'll work from about 10 - 4, with a break for lunch.
