I was lucky enough to complete this entire series, and must say that it was a very enjoyable series. This is the kind of series that ya want to load the kids up in the van and take em cachin. Great fun for young and old alike, with hides in interesting places, great containers, and fun to find spots.
Awesome series, that I would highly reccomend.

I hope everyone has enjoyed Halloween 2007. Here's a note on the status of these caches...
Effective November 30th, the following changes will be made to the series:
Halloween 2007: All wound up (GC1698F)
==========================
This cache will be archived as it violates the principal of avoiding death. There are reports that it is too close to high voltage and I especially can't stand sticking my hand up light poles. Don't ask why it was put there in the first place.
Halloween 2007: Trick-or-treat (GC16C6Q)
===========================
This puzzle cache will most likely be removed and archived as it was the treat for completing the trick, and would no longer be considered a bonus after Halloween is gone. If you've got this on your list, please complete it as soon as possible. I will happily provide freebie hints for anyone wanting to do this before it is archived. Finds after it is archived will not be accepted.
ALL OTHER CACHES
=============
Any of the remaining geocaches that have a rating of LESS THAN 3.0 will be archived as I don't care for mediocre caches (especially my own) and you've sent the message by rating them accordingly. All remaining caches rating 3.0 or higher will remain in play. There names will be changed to remove "Halloween 2007" from their title.
If you've found the caches but have not rated them yet, please do so soon.
And anyone feeling compelled to remind me of the rules about the lifespan of a cache - save it. I am well aware of the guidelines. Trust me, YOU are better served as a geocacher if the lame caches are removed as most of you know I usually only plant caches that have a tremendous amount of effort, $$, or creativity involved. |

It should have read... death by electrocution.
Any other risk is fine as far as I am concerned. The more stars the better. |

| 2008 Halloween series may be cancelled just as containers are under construction. Has anyone checked out the cache density in the SE metro lately? If anyone is willing to give up any hiding spots in Burnsville, Eagan, Apple Valley, or Rosemount by September 30th I'd be much obliged. I won't whine too much because I own a couple dozen caches in the area myself. |

look over any of my spots and let me know. I love the Halloween series and would hate to see them die. _________________ ---------------------------------------------------
