I just don't get why all you guys are worried.
Why would anybody steal a Garmin anyway. |

You're right! In general thieves aren't all that bright and, if given the choice, they would probably opt to steal an inferior Magellan instead. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

But at least he knew where he was and wasn't wandering around lost in the woods wishing he had a GPS unit to help him find his way back out.

I’ve told this story before, but I think it’s worth repeating, since it is after all a true story. A friend of mine had a Magellan, (I know, I know, friends don’t let friends own Magellans) and he’d left it in his car, right on the dash for everyone to see....he was sort of worried, because it wasn’t the best neighborhood. We weren’t in the store long, because I knew he was concerned. Sure enough, when we got back to the car, they had broke in somehow, and instead of one Magellan, there were three in there now! Sheesh! _________________ ...formerly 'dachebo'. |

Stay on topic in an off-topic thread split off from another off-topic thread. Neat
BTW, cm, it was just a joke -- no need to get all fired up. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |
