- The code contains only letters.
- Each letter is unique.
- The code is all uppercase. (case independent).
- The code is not a word according to a lookup at www.wordnavigator.com.
- The code does not have any "dirty words" inside of it.
- The code is not an acronym according to a lookup at www.acronymfinder.com.
- If a guess gets letters correct I will post here with how many of the letters are correct but not which letters or positions.
- Guesses will only be accepted if they are posted here no e-mails please.
- 1 Guess per day, per MnGCA username.
- I will only respond to the first guess per day, per MnGCA username.
- A day is 12:00 midnight to 11:59 PM.
- The first MnGCA username to guess the correct code wins an unactivated copper Alvin's Phone Line coin.

I admire your willingness to answer all these emails. There could be a lot of them.

This is known in the mathematical literature as a 5x26N Mastermind game (remember the game with pegs -- but here with five pegs and 26 "colors" to choose from, with N denoting no repetition of colors allowed). There is the additional restriction here that no English words are formed.

Even after the five letters are determined, there are still 5! = 120 ways to permute those letters, and we get no new information about whether a guess is close. That could take a while.

To make it more like Mastermind, and have it still last a good long while, I'd suggest replying with the number of letters in correct position and number of letters in incorrect position, like white and black pegs in Mastermind. But, it's your coin, so I guess you can torment us however you like!
