That used to be the case. The DC-9 is really high maintenance, though. No magenta line to follow. Besides, they pay me just to feed the dog, and the dog's there so I don't touch anything. _________________ I feel the need! The need for speed! |

If he does he's got bigger things to worry about than the ceiling fans! |

Hey, that flightsimx that geopierce tempted us with is cool.
I thought I was really something when I got the thing to go out the window and sail through the neighborhood.
Total distance, 61.096 meters
rank: a stunning 27,838th best!
so far, 130,252,292 airplanes have been thrown.
Assumptions:
a) every plane tossed was done at work by somebody who should have been doing their job but instead tossed digital airplanes
b) it takes about 10 seconds between throws
c) an average office worker gets something like $40,000/year salary and works 47 weeks/year
Then this cool diversion has cost the worlwide economy about $7.7 million.
I wonder how much those despicable FTF hounds cost the economy with them hurriedly rushing to "offsite meetings".
Still,
I'm quite proud of my 61.096 meters. _________________ -Paklid |

Ummm
My new highwater mark is 83.525 meters (good for a 22,453rd world rank). As far as I know, this is the best ever done from Minnesota. _________________ -Paklid |

I'm curious just how much you've contributed to those stats Paklid? To get up to be the 22,453rd best you must have spent some time on it......... _________________ Hmm... |

Sorry paklid, my best toss was 88.711 meters, which is good for a ranking of 20502. (That ranking was 19400 something on Friday, so it looks like a lot of those cheaters have overtaken me.
The sad thing about this nice toss was that it came on about my 6th throw. I've been killing myself trying to get close to that again. I can hit 60 meters pretty consistently, but that anything in the 80s is very rare. |
