You may want to consider notifying the cache owner that his or her cache has been nominated for COTM (as well as notifying them if they won). Maybe an email through their gc.com profile or as a note on the cache page. I'm guessing that some people don't even know they got nominated or won until they see my bookmark show up there (if they even notice it).
Your call, just a suggestion.

Actually, this month I did just that. But I have not been consistently doing this in the past, mainly since most nominations have been for cache owners who frequent the forum. But I'll make sure to keep it up. For the win. I guess I hope that the nominated cache hiders keep visiting the board on a daily basis and follow the suspense.
