| Thoughts and prayers to all affected by this, cachers and non-cachers alike. On a specific note related to this forum/group, hopefully we won't hear that any fellow cachers and/or their families were among those affected. |

I haven't heard of anyone I know being involved yet. I agree though, my thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and all the emergency response personnel that will undoubtedly be working through the night.
I know I personally haven't crossed that bridge very often, moreso for caching than anything else. |

"35W closed past 94, find alternate routes" was posted on the light-up sign as far south as Lakeville when I got off work at 2am. When I was looking at the streaming feed on one of the work computers (when I should have been at my machine punching out parts) I was thinking, "hey, isn't that where that one cache was?" - thinking about This old fencepost, but looking at the maps, that was closer to being under the Cedar Ave. Bridge. My thoughts and best wishes are with anyone who has been affected by this tragedy. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

Looks like the web server's clock is out of synch. Cammo posted this at 5:48PM but the collapse happened at 6:05PM. |

Dear Brother Knights
Please keep the Brother Knight Peter Hausman and his family in your prayers. Peter has gone missing since the I35W bridge collapse last evening.
Updates and information on how you can support the family will be sent as it becomes available. |
Announcement from Rosemount Knights of Columbus about Peter Hausman. Peter and I were on the St. Joseph School Technology committee for a number of years. He moved on to other church and school activities a few years back but he and his family are still active in the community and are a devout and very nice family. He has a wife and I believe three young children that attend St. Joes School.
