Wallypog just had his 19th birthday this week, and I was just looking at his gc profile and reminiscing
Anyway -- I discovered that one of the first TB's he released in August, 2002 is still going strong and I thought that was neat.  Almost 5 years on the road.

We were looking for something to attach to a bug tag that day and on a whim he pulled his Disneyland name tag off his backpack and we launched it.

It has been logged by 51 different cachers and has been to Minnesota, United Kingdom, Switzerland, North Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma, Washington, Greece, Germany and Austria.

It always intrigues me why some TBs do so well and others just seem to vanish after a few months.....
Just wondering who else has an older TB that is still going (and has not been re-released on it's copy tag)? Or know of one??

I released Antsy the Anteater on 26 April 2002, and it's the longest lived bug I've had, and it's still with the original tag. It's had a long strange trip so far - it's goal was to go to California so my mom can find it and then send it via caches back to me. It was logged into a cache that was washed away by Hurricane Isodore in November of 2002, but someone had grabbed the bug but didn't log it until a couple months later. It finally made it's first goal, to have my mom find it, in January of 2004, and it's been on it's way back here ever since. Before it left Minnesota, it was found by n0oa, kliener, pb_reader, and lady and laddy bugs. Also, drat19 found it in Mississippi and dropped it in Colorado in March, 2003.
