I'm taking my Boy Scouts up to Nashwauk next week. We have loads of activities planned, but would have some time to seek a cache or two if there's a spectacular cache in the area.
Anyone have any recommendations? |

You may want to look at Cache of the Month Nominees and Winners. I'm not sure what is on the list in the area, although I believe there are some caches. If your home coordinates are set for the area it should show you the direction/distance to the caches on the list.

I hope it's not too late, but if you have a group of people in the area and time to cache, I'd recommend Goodnight Chuck (GCW5KB). I went with a group of over a dozen geocaching enthusiasts to complete this night cache.
It was fun to be with old friends, while meeting up with new friends at the site. I went along to watch others do the work for me, but I actually found one of the stages myself somehow.
If the scouts want something to do some night other than the campfire, I'd suggest packing up the gps's and FLASHLIGHTS for a rather unique cache. |
