After making it kind of a goal to find defunct Lakers, I am now curious as to who out there has them, and which ones they have.
I know at least one person who is looking to trade for one. He is looking for any of the St. Paul area lakes, Laker pieces. Anyone holding one?
I currently have FIVE in my possesion (Saganaga, Rice, Moose, Geneva and St. Croix), and am willing to trade any of them for other Lakers if the ones I have are meaningful to someone else. I would love to find or trade for the extremely missing "Minnetonka" or "Battle".
So, who has Lakers? Which ones do you have? And, are you willing to trade them? _________________ "There is a pleasure in the pathless woods..." - Lord Byron |

Would anyone have a list of the last caches the lakers were in before the game ended? There used to be a list of where they were at. Can't find it now. I was just curious if there were anymore of them listed in caches close to me.
I also just checked one of my caches this morning and found "Cedar" in one of them. What's it worth to someone? It is now in my possesion. I would possibly be willing to trade for one from a lake close to me. I know "Lac Qui Parle" dissapeared quite a while ago. I live in the west central part of the state. _________________ King of the Jeff Gordon TB's!

The Lakers pages were removed from the website when the game ended. Gilby requested a list of caches and so I queried the database and created a map that contained the last cache each Laker was dropped into.
Here is the map: http://www.geopierce.net/maps/lakers.php?lat=46.664&lon=-93.251&z=11
There are only 33 and a few are archived. The map does not tell which Laker is supposed to be in the cache displayed. That would have been too much work. A quick search for the word "laker" on the cache page should tell you if it the Laker is still there or not. The map will not be updated. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

| I have 'Elephant'. I'd be interested in trading for Rainy, or Cedar. |

I thought the lakers game was stopped because there were no more lakers. |

It was stopped because there were too many missing and it was time to make a new game to spread the word about the MnGCA. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

I would say that's pretty accurate. It's not that there were none, just that a large number are now missing.
