I still haven't received mine - I wonder if I hit a nerve last year when I complained because they weren't shipping them to geocachers deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

Mine finally came, so I guess I didn't put myself on a black list after all. I'm back to work, which is really cutting in to my caching time, but I'll get it out there soon. Maybe I should drop it out in Maine when I go out there in a couple weeks.... _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

Out of curiosity, how many Minnesota cachers received Minnesota Jeeps?
I got East Split Rock River (MN). That was pretty cool. |

Now that they're out, I can't get the form page that said when we were supposed to drop them by, but I think it was within 2 weeks of receipt.
I know with previous jeeps, you had to have had a jeep sometime within a particular month in order to send in a contest entry for that month, so if we had to get rid of them before the 1st, then we wouldn't be able to send in a contest entry for July, and I don't think they'd penalize us in such a manner for being on the ball and getting a request in in time. _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |

I haven't done much with the contests. The mass emails from cachers asking me to vote for their photo/stories kinda turned me off.
I'll always enjoy getting another icon though |

I just realized something - this contest is only for the lower 48 and D.C. - in fact, there is a bruhaha over this on the gc.com forums, like there was last year - yet the jeep I received is named for a creek in Alaska?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________ There comes a time in every young boy's life when he gets an irresistible urge to seek buried treasure.--Mark Twain |
