When I was pulling all my caches from Eden Prairie I saw a herd of six enormous turkeys in one conservation area and then a coyote in the next. Couldn't help feeling sorry for the poor guy that he missed his chance.
I can't say I was scared of the coyote but I once dislodged a white-footed mouse while rooting around in a tree, it fell right on my boots. Scared the bejesus out of me.
Check out "Critter Cache" in Pearl neighborhood of Mpls for a good shot at wildlife spotting. |
