Jill and I drove 5,000 miles and found over 60 caches last Sept/Oct. Just got the photos up:

If I could afford to live in Montana again, I'd be back in a heartbeat--it was nice to have Yellowstone as just a day trip, and not a vacation that takes months of planning for. But, alas, you can't eat the scenery.

Great Pics! We took a very similar trip a few years back-
a few of your pics were taken from almost exactly the same spot
as ones We Took!!!

This pic for example:
http://www.towlebooth.com/images/albums/West_VI_Teton/default/dscf0115.htm

There is a large boulder just to the left of the 2 of you-(your rights) I have video and lots of pics from that rock, as well as a group shot taken in this very clearing/trail!

I dont have of them online, so i cant post them- but your pics sure brought back alot of memories, and the desire to Go Back!!!!!

The nights we spent camping on the hills around Jackson lake, under a full moon were unbeleiveable!!

Great pics !

Agreed, very nice pics towlebooth. I liked looking at the glacier national park ones, I took a train out to washington in november of last year that went through that park, since then I've thought it'd be a nice place to take a vacation to (although since it's a national park, I'm doubtin there's many, if any, geocaches there).

That hike above Phelps Lake is a beautiful one. I have since learned that Phelps lake has been privately owned by the Rockefellers and that they will be giving much of their land in the area to the Teton NP soon.

No traditional caches, but plenty of virtuals. While you don't get the fun of a tough container find at the end, many of them lead you on awesome hikes.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone!
