I have a few coding questions....
First, for cache pages - What is the coding to put the MnGCA logo on a cache page and make it a link? (I need to get it added to the Spring Event cache page)
Do cache pages on GC.com use Style Sheets?
For pictures and cache page backgrounds do people use a photo hosting service? I have one and used it for the Spring Event, but want to make sure that is the best way to go.
As a member of MnGCA, can we use the MnGCA logo on cache pages that we own? Or, should it be reserved for caches placed by MnGCA (events)?
Next, on the forum - How do you make a link show an alias? Meaning, how can I put the GC number for a cache, for example, and make it a link to the actual cache page. I understand it for GC.com cache pages, but not the coding used for the forum.
Thanks for your help! |

They do but I don't think you can use your own.

You'll have to use a photo hosting service unless you have your own website where you can upload the pictures. I've never used a photo hosting service, so I'll quote woot.com: "If you need a place to host your pictures, try www.imageshack.ws or www.photobucket.com."

Yes, you can use the MnGCA logo on any cache page.

This:
| Code: |
| GC123RK |
Would look like: GC123RK
Sorry for the brief answers. Let me know if you need more explanation. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

Just upload the pictures you want to use as a background or on the cache page to the cache page itself. Click on "upload images" on the right nav and then they will appear in a list near the bottom. Use those URLs to link to in the cache page. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |
