Its called a cross-check, for verification that something was sent. |

Looks like GC.com has their message sending act together......for now. This thread can be locked.
Thanks |

Sorry, I wasn't clear.
I meant I wasn't sure about it not working for echoing the message back to yourself because I didn't select that option. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

Just saw on the main GC.com forums that Yahoo is throttling the groundspeak emails again, which is what caused this issue last time...so be prepared shortly to be missing email notifications.

Anyone getting any found/watch/published notifications since Friday AM? That's that last time I recall any arriving. PQ's do arrive.
Looks like someone needs to press the "Send" button again. |

glad it's not just me. thought I screwed up a setting somewhere, though I also thought there was no way to turn them off.
Had gotten no emails, then was suprised to see my cache had new logs I wasn't notified about. |

I am having a terrific time getting the correct info sent in for an earthcache- either something has drastically changed or parts of the info didn't get received by them- then I am suppose to adopt my own cache I am setting up- then the approver is out of town until the 24th- go figure- you think they would have a backup person. _________________ LIFE IS GOOD;CABIN LIFE IS GREAT |

I think they do for long periods of time, but not for shorter periods like this.
Remember, waiting a few days for a cache to be approved is normal in other parts of the country - we're spoiled by SJ's fast actions here. _________________ Hmm... |

Actually, no. While we were unaccustomed to SJ's fast approvals here it was only because mtn-man was well behind the standard pace that the rest of the country was experiencing.
Most people were shocked to hear about anything over 48 hours. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

no - it was apporved within a few hours, but not posted because she had some issues which IK had included in th scripte- but my emails to her are returned syaing she is out until the 24th and I can't get into the cache site- it won't let me in and then I got another email asking me if I agree to adopt the cache- I have created other earth caches and this is really weird! _________________ LIFE IS GOOD;CABIN LIFE IS GREAT |
