Just wondering if anyone else out there uses Linux? any problems with compatibility? _________________ Aurora Borealis Expeditionary League |

You'll want to check out gpsbabel for doing waypoint transfers. You might also be interested in rickrich's scripts: http://geo.rkkda.com/
As far as being "compatible", I'm not sure what you mean. If you're asking if there are any mainstream programs for Linux, no. If you just want to send/retrieve GPXs from your GPS, then yes. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |

I just want to know if I am going to have problems plugging in a gps and transfering waypoints/gpx's/etc. Just the basic 'functionality' you require. _________________ Aurora Borealis Expeditionary League |

gpsbabel will do it for the majority of GPSs that people use. _________________ Sad state of affairs. |
