FYI: Eagleyes and Bird Dog were interviewed on WELY radio in Ely, MN on the morning of July30, 2003. We discussed the origen of geocaching, the basics of the rules and caches and travel bugs. From there we took one of the DJ's of the morning show to a cache. We left the station and coached her on GPSing in the car on the way to the site. She was using her cell phone in the car and on the trail and ultimately to the cache where she described locating the cache, the contents and logging in - all this was a live feed to the station and on air live. Once back at the station we again discussed goecaching. They were also getting calls to the station from listeners who were interested.

Although it has been a few years since I listened, WELY was always a great radio staion. I'm sure you would have a hard time finding another station that would do this. I hope you generated enough interst to expand the hobby in what I consider the nicest area of Minnesota.
