I was looking earlier today, but the best I could see was Posenville...he put out a couple new caches up there near each other, but I'm not sure who's done them yet.

Anyone else have a better plan?

(This one is on the way, some of you have done it)
Gee, I'm Such a Fun Guy! (GCQ4Y4)

There is a Ruby Tuesdays 3 or 4 miles down 61 from there.

OK, Zman worked out a better plan than mine. I say those work for me!

Post a new topic, or get SB to edit this one...either way, I'm good. What time did we want?

Just a heads up gang... If I remember right, that park is only open until the sun sets (dusk)... It is a really cool park though.

Well the Ravine Park has quite a few in it, if you would prefer we could do that.

Or else there is a walking path that has 4 caches along it in Woodbury

If you decide to do the Cottage Grove Ravine, there are three things you need to know:

1) If you do Two Headed Beast, you can guarantee that I'll be there. I've been waiting to tag along with a group that is going to do that one.
2) The park closes 30 minutes after sunset.
3) There is a $5 parking fee (or you can have an Anoka/Carver/Washington County park pass).

Ok, so I'm running out of ideas. Perhaps the woodbury one is the best. There are lots of restaurants near by there, and I think we could easily get on the trail even if the main park parking lot is closed.

For those of you who heard the last podcast, these are the caches I took audio at after the dead men caching trip.

what's with all these parks that are useless during the winter? I mean most people don't get out of work til 5 in general (some a little earlier, some a bit later) so by the time anyone can get home...suns already set. Stupid parks...

I'm still up for whatever as long as it's after 7 at least so I can get home and load things in GPSr.

The time that it's close to work you put it at 8pm -- bah! Smile

I'm out this week too. I have some work to do at home tonight. Oh well.

I'm not sure what that first sentence means, but I'm happy to make it earlier, I just thought maybe people would like a little extra time to let traffic die down...but hey, traffic over the wacota bridge is pretty good (if they don't reduce it to one lane again tonight) now that they have fixed it.

So would 7 or 7:30 work better for you?

Also, the two headed beast is a very long multi-stage cache. Be prepared for quite the walk.
