The MnGCA will not be receiving any Jeep TBs this year. The distribution was handled differently and unless you were reading the GC.com forums you were not even notified of the opportunity to get one.
Jeep
The 2006 Jeep 4x4 Geocaching Challenge begins on August 1st, 2006 in the USA. This year, it's a green die-cast Jeep Rescue Concept vehicle with a Travel Bug tag attached. We're enlisting geocachers to hide approximately 5,500 Jeep Travel Bugs in caches located in the lower 48 United States and there are still Jeep Travel Bugs available. If you are interested in placing a Jeep Travel Bug into a cache near you, please complete and mail-in your request form, located here (while supplies last):
http://jeep.geocaching.com/docs/JeepRequestForm.pdf
What they wanted you to do was to fill out a request form, mail it in and they would send you a TB in the mail. Unfortunately, the link above states "Thanks for your interest in the 2006 Geocaching Promotion. We have now received enough requests for a 2006 Jeep Travel bug. Look for one in a cache near you! "
So if you were not aware and did not request one, your going to have to wait until you find one or one of us bring one to and event and you can discover it.
If you care about the contest you can find information here.

I requested one-but didn't get one. What would be interesting-could the lucky cachers in Minnesota who got one-please say so. I am curious just how many were given to this state and if most of them went to the Metro area since that is where the majority of caches are located. Thanks! _________________ Summer is too short |

I know of three people so far that have. I'm one of them.
I should have mine out in the wild soon, it's gotta visit a few cachers first though. |
