This coming Wednesday I volunteered and offered that we should do a real night cache but because it wasn't really a night cache and the fact that parking could end up being bad, I had to choose some others:

http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?lat=44.773333&lon=-93.324117

GCY7MC
GCY86Q
GCY83Q

Parking: 44 46.415 093 18.972 (in the park's parking lot behind the McDonalds off of MN-13)

Refreshments afterwards:

Black Dawg Bar (they aren't open yet to see about the Guinness Status)
http://www.blackdawggrille.com/
3120 West Highway 13
Literally across the highway from the caches

Or:

Benchwarmer Bob's (only Guinness in the bottle)
http://www.benchwarmerbobs.com
251 W. Burnsville Parkway
Burnsville, MN 55337

Can't make it this week either. I'll be in Vegas for the evening.

I have updated the first post: http://www.mngca.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=30423#30423

Three caches, same park, parking coords, and two options for after-cache snacks. I'll know about the Guinness status on the Black Dawg Bar later today.

Walking is going to hurt for me but I'll manage somehow: http://gallery.lazylightning.org/ht-20060916/PhotoX1288

Chris and possibly my college roommate (who is moving here soon and is in town this week house hunting) will probably be in attendance this week.

Well bring a wagon and MAYBE we will pull you. More likely though I'll just bring a pole with a bottle hanging off the end of it and hold it in front of you. Twisted Evil

I've been wanting to join the crew on a WeekNIGHT Caching event for some time, I guess this would be a good time to go! I'll have to check with the boss, but I'm optimistic.

I wish I could offer guidance on the local availability of Guinness, but unfortunately I can't. Guinness on tap is certainly a favorite of mine, but I've never been to BlackDawg, or to the bar just a block or two west of of the McDonalds on Chowan Ave.

Renegades (the bar you mention on Chowan) charged cover when Kim and I tried to go there one night. Cooky has mentioned that Black Dawg had a cover when he tried there one night as well.

We might be having to use Benchwarmer Bob's and suffering w/o tap Guinness Sad

Is the Yeti up to date on shots? May we ask how that happened? Enquiring minds want to know.
