|
|
Hello Cachers,
Today while out searching for a couple of caches. I happened to lean on my pack containing among other things my PDA. I heard a little snap, yup the screen, shoot.
Will I have any problem installing "Cachemate" on a different PDA? I'm talking about it being a registered copy and all.
Thanks for your help, Cache On, Al |

Palm or Windows-based? If it is a Palm, I can guarantee you won't have any problems unless you don't use the same username as what you used before. _________________

Al,
Let me count. I must be on my 4th PDA by now. One shattered on a hard tile floor, another went swimming in a swamp, the third had some strange power problem and kept burning through a set of batteries in less than two days. Number 4 is holding up well at the moment.
At any rate, I've just plugged in the new PDA, hotsync'd and was back in business in minutes. |

For future reference, Cachemate does allow up to 5 registration codes if you change your PDA username. When I replaced my PDA I didn't even think about the PDA name affecting the program but thankfully with their self-serve registration page, I was back in business.

Hey ScubaAl what kind of PDA did you buy, and what was your old one? _________________ Remember One does not need the MNGCA to geocache, but the MNGCA does need members to survive. |
