| I think i can and may do some motifications to the time frames after next month. August will be a bit tight due to me being out of town for a bit. Starting in Sept I will make some modifications tho. |

No...I swear I've never seen the poll before today. Both myself and Lucid were waiting to vote and would have reminded the other...
The funny thing is I remember seeing a "test" post in this section that camo posted, but nothing else. If she edits it without adding a new post, does it mean it won't show up in the "new posts" querry???
I'm thinking that's how I missed it...and I'm annoyed now...

I did do a test but to avoid the problem you speak of it was deleted and then a new post added.
I got to say I was surprised there were not more votes on either one.
Also one thing that might help is if submissions for COTM were not given at the last minute. On the 1st of every month the post goes up but I get little response till about the 17th-20th which means the poll times are short to make it by the 1st. |

You can change the deadlines to what works for you - nothing is written in stone. I normally altered the deadlines slightly so that they didn't come up on days when I didn't plan to have good internet access. If you need to move them up a bit then that should be fine - I would just communicate with the submitter that you'll hold their submission for the following month if they're late.

I never saw the posting either-but then again I won't vote when I lack the knowledge of any of the caches. I'm in my own little world (actually I can see the end of the world from my community  ) and I have more North Dakota finds than Minnesota ones. I hope to correct that situation!
