Attention weekNIGHTERS!!! weekNIGHT caching on THURSDAY at 7:00pm!
1) Parking and meeting at 7:00pm sharp at the parking lot of "Maynards" in Excelsior (coords to follow).
2) Taking a nice walk down to "The Commons" park for three caches:
Cache #1 The Commons 2
Cache #2 The yet to be approved:"jREST Is Cute!" This cache will be an option for those that feel a little adventurous. (yes, getting wet to get this cache is neccessary, so bring a suit and mask only if you want to.)
Cache #3 The yet to be approved: "All aboard!"
*All caches are weed free, so wear your shorts with confidence.
**SB, that means they are tick free too, so hope to see you there also
3)Walk back down to Maynards for some good drinks, food and camaraderie on the patio overlooking beautiful Lake Minnetonka.
There may be many people included on this one, so please plan on getting to Maynards a bit early if you can. Parking can be quite difficult if it is nice and sunny out. I plan on getting there a little early and sitting out on the patio until 7:00pm, and then walk out front to meet up with the rest of the group, so join me if you wish. Please respond to this thread if you plan on attending. This will help on trying to get some tables reserved for when we return from caching in the park. _________________ "There is a pleasure in the pathless woods..." - Lord Byron

I'm in, and probably for all three (go figure)...I'll have to figure if I'll ride the cycle out there or not, cause if we're swimming I don't think riding the cycle out in swim trunks is smart...
then again I'm not usually accused of being that

At least you'd be dry by the time you got back home. _________________ Tupperware doesn't belong in the kitchen! |

Hopefully, we will be lucky enough to have CCCooper with us as a guest of honor. |
Let me add to that comment. I think that it would be an even bigger honor to have the #1 FINDER, and the #1 HIDER at the weekNIGHT event next week! Two guests of honor! Seriously, how often are you able to cache with both at the same time? What do you say KB? _________________ "There is a pleasure in the pathless woods..." - Lord Byron |

Possibly nay for me on Thursday, if the work volleyball team is in the playoffs that's the night of the first game. Not certain yet, but I might be out Thurs. Wens/Fri would probably be fine for me...and depending on how the game looks I may be able to miss it...who knows.

I can't make it until the KB event. I'm playing single parent the latter half of this week and the whole weekend. Quality time with the boys. I can corupt them more before their mom gets back home. _________________ Airborne All the Way! |

Update: For now, it looks like its going to be Thursday if we are going to be able to entertain certain guests. I will post the caches and all info later tonight or tomorrow morning. Just plan on Thursday at 7:00 at Maynards for now. Thanks, I hope lots of people can make it. It should be fun. _________________ "There is a pleasure in the pathless woods..." - Lord Byron |
