I am a Northern Virginia geocacher. I have been to your great state many times but not for geocaching purposes. I will be back this next week. I will also be coming back to Minnesota on an annual basis to the Mayo Clinic. I was just wondering if any of you have any suggestions as to which caches that you like best around the Rochester area? Thanks for any input. Unfortunately I won't be there for your event on the 30th. Crying or Very sad

Will this be an annual event each year?

Another one of my favorites for the scenery, even though it's along a bike trail, is gaffroz's Trestle Treasure: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=02680db6-bd05-422c-b705-7468806c330f -- there used be another cache a little bit down the trail from here and gaffroz did a nice job recreating that one after it went missing in his own way Smile

I also suggest making the drive over to Mantorville (~15 miles West). There are some absolutely killer caches in that area as well as a great place for food and drinks (the Hubble House). Good evening,
This is accordiongal, from Southeastern Mn. If you want an escorted tour, I will be happy to drive both of us around. I work in Rochester at Mayo.
Personally I don't have any favorites in Rochester.
