Posen, Don't worry about not being first. This isn't the one you wanted anyways. Tomorrow is your day! Can't you hear that fly reel calling your name? Good luck in your quest! _________________ "There is a pleasure in the pathless woods..." - Lord Byron |

Alright, you St. Paulites, Who got it today? I heard from some birdies that the Cachers from the East side were there fast and furious. Which one of you got it, and who all was there? Congrats to whoever? _________________ "There is a pleasure in the pathless woods..." - Lord Byron |

joelcam got it, since he's about a 5 min drive from there.
At least it was on my way to work, and I got to meet a few cachers, so I didn't feel the trip was wasted.
As for winning one of these, nothing has been close enough for me to get there before the mongol hoards, heh
I'm revising my attempts to anything on my way to work, or within a 5 mile radius of my house. I doubt any will show up in that window though, unless they've really spead these out. Again, not complaining, there's just no physical way I can beat people to stuff that's further away than that. |

It was on county rd E and Lexington, and Joelcam lives on county rd D and Lexington...I was second, by a minute or two--others in attendance were Kcogrn, Mucluck, Montana Joe and Lizard of Oz......we all waited until 10 to say "Hi" to Gilby3, but he was a no-show! |

Thanks for waiting, but after the dog ran away this morning, (Got him back) and then my little girl oversleeping, we were way behind in time. So, we went downtown and waited for Montana Rob to come back with a report of the sticker find. We then went out on a tutorial for Montana Rob to get his very first find ever. An excellent morning, even if we didn't make it over to the East Side for the sticker! Hopefully we (Gilby #1 & #3) will see you all tomorrow morning at the Breakfast. _________________ "There is a pleasure in the pathless woods..." - Lord Byron |

Supposedly, yes. However, Montana Rob is a new geocacher (name is coincidence) who owns a local coffee shop. Just a friend that was trying to find the sticker first. I was just waiting for him to come back and tell me if he won, which he didn't. He did say that there were a bunch of cachers there though.
As for spotters, I was told yes, there will be times when someone is at the sticker watching whats happening. I have yet to see them though. _________________ "There is a pleasure in the pathless woods..." - Lord Byron |

What a [removed by software] "joke" this has become. I can (laugh) because I'm no longer involved. What a shame for those still playing. |

| technically I'm playing. I watch the site every morning to determine if it's worth my petrol costs to get there. 2 weeks left to have one on the eastern side of the cities. |

Again, not within a reasonable distance from my house, not to mention way in the wrong way from work.

Besides it was golf stuff...
