Good to see one that far north. That means they'll have some in the south too.

I'm thinkin' the way these stickers are placed...it woulda been more fun to not know the locations and stumble upon them over the summer...

KB, how do you know that you were STF? Or was that just a little joke?

I was greeted by the guy ar the Scout Shop. Someone had been there about an hour before.

I didn't even have the coordinates 'cause I didn't plan on going. My wife had a flat tire at work, so I was there from 10:30 -11:15

Here is my theory (IMHO):

I tried again this morning, and actually found the sticker on the window at the coords posted. I then called in to the toll free number to let them know that I found it. The person on the phone worked with a team of operators that must deal with a lot of other businesses. She didn't have many answers for me about the game. I asked her if I was first, and she said that someone from the game would be contacting me later if I was the winner. In the mean time, she took down my; email, address, name, phone, where I heard about the game, and whether or not they could put my name on a mailing list for the state of Montana and the State Parks. She had no idea if I was the first or the tenth caller.

The sticker in the window is different every day. The picture of the gpsr has a unique picture each day that needs to be described to the operator for you to prove that you were there. The phone number stays the same. I think that is why they took the picture off the website the other day for the clue. I'll bet they were afraid of people blowing up and enhancing the picture to be able to call in a winner without actually being at ground zero.

Long post longer.... here is my theory. I think it is just a big marketing ploy of course. They want the sticker to stay in the window, or where ever they place it so that more and more people will call in and give them their info. Thats why they don't post a winner right away. Not to mention that there may be some kind of payola from the places that they place the stickers. Yesterday was at the bike shop where they sell gpsrs, and today was outside a Boy Scout store that sells all kinds of camping gear.

So, if you want to do this and asure yourself a winning find, just go camp out in front of REI for the next few weeks at about 8:50am and I am sure you will get a FTF!

If I was first, I wonder if they will read this and decide to not award it to me Crying or Very sad And, if I was first and won those fabulous prizes, I will repost how that whole process works too.

I was on hold forever. They took no info from me. I asked, and was told it has been found.

Just curious ... what time were you there?
