Hey Slient Bob, according to the event's website:
"There is FREE GPS/Geocaching Training" |
Ouch! That's gotta hurt! _________________ ...formerly 'dachebo'. |

From geocaching.com's point of view, these are normal caches that are logged as usual. The fact that they may contain codes for the Saint Cloud Challenge is incidental. |

| Team Posen is heading up Saturday afternoon! I think St. Cloud could use a few more caches in general...hope this event helps stir some interest... |

Which ones are you refering to?
All of the ones I see on the Granite Country website are listed at geocaching.com
I made a public bookmark list of them all here _________________ Mustang Dreamin' |

jREST and I spent half a day in St Cloud yesterday, running these caches down. We did ok, we found all but two: one we ran out of time for (had to be back in time to pick Ryan up from his field trip!), and one we spent 90 minutes on and ended up with a DNF.
That cache was "Garden Challenge" GC5889 - if anyone's planning on hitting this one up, please lmk how you do - we made it all the way to the final clue, and got skunked. Argh, I hate that! We failed to find the cache "exactly x5 steps away" from three or four really good possibilities, so if anyone nabs this one and is feeling charitable, please drop me a line and we can negotiate hints...I'd really appreciate it. (Don't post 'em here please, don't want to ruin anyone's fun!) I think I'll be heading back that way next Saturday, and finishing this one is definitely my top priority!
Have fun, and happy hunting!
